About Me

I’m an engineer and technology leader with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling technology end-to-end – hardware, software, and AI – from early prototypes to mass-manufactured products and intelligent, data-driven platforms.

Naturally curious, I thrive on complex problems – turning ideas into reliable, data-driven products across electronics, embedded systems, cloud, mobile, and machine learning. As a founder and a technology leader, I’ve built and led multi-disciplinary teams end-to-end, from prototype through manufacturing, supply chain, and market — primarily in Southeast Asia.

Over my career, I’ve brought to market:

  • Health & wellbeing wearable ecosystems, mass-manufactured hardware with companion mobile apps
  • LoRaWAN IoT platforms for agriculture, with B2B SaaS and intelligent algorithms on top
  • Energy and building management systems, including a wireless edge controller
  • Production ML and LLM-powered features, trained daily on 1B+ sensor records
  • Specialty hardware sold direct to consumers

Built production ML pipelines, including prediction models trained daily on 1B+ sensor records, customer-facing SaaS, plus LLM integrations, custom MCP servers, and agentic workflows.

Team Building & Engineering Leadership

Hired and mentored engineers across hardware, firmware, software, data, and product – building and scaling teams from scratch.

Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Compliance

Set up manufacturing, supply chains, and regulatory certifications (CE, UKCA, FCC) in Southeast Asia, working directly with suppliers and CMs.

Defined technology vision, architecture, and product roadmaps – aligning technical decisions with business goals while staying close to execution.

Business & Entrepreneurship

Co-founded and scaled multiple companies – board roles, fundraising, partnerships, and P&L accountability across early-stage and growth-phase businesses.

Career Journey

  • 2008–2014 – NXP Semiconductor (embedded systems research), then Imagination Technologies: designed GPU IP cores shipping in billions of devices (Apple, Samsung, Intel).
  • 2013–2016 – Co-founded Vinaya Technologies: built and scaled a wearables company from first prototype to market.
  • 2017 – CTO in Residence at Startupbootcamp IoT London, mentoring international IoT start-ups; also founded Seroware and Techntone, and completed a mini-MBA.
  • 2018–2024 – Co-founded Mothive (agri-tech IoT), which merged into Terraprima Group in 2019; co-founder and CTO through funding rounds until acquisition in 2024.
  • 2024–present – CTO of Ladybird IoT (formerly Terraprima) and Technical Director of its parent, the Mountain IoT Group.
