Product

GeoEdge puts precision energy metering, high-current load switching and industrial I/O in one wall-mounted, double-insulated unit — a simpler, lower-cost, more efficient way to monitor and automate commercial buildings (hospitality among the first deployments). Operators get asset-level visibility and remote/automated control of refrigeration, heating, lighting and other electrical equipment over LoRaWAN, cutting waste and supporting net-zero with measured data rather than estimates.

The hard part is convergence: mains power electronics and low-power sensing/radio on one Class II platform, with metering and switching that can cover the same circuit or independent circuits, almost all behaviour reconfigurable over the air after install, and automation rules stored on-device so control continues if the network drops.

  • Calibrated 20 A energy meter — V, I, active/reactive/apparent power, PF, energy; over/under-voltage and over-current alerts
  • 2× high-power changeover relays (20 A resistive, high inrush) for compressors, fans, lighting
  • Independent metering and switching — meter and control the same circuit, or meter one circuit and control others
  • I/O: 4× digital, 2× analogue in (e.g. NTC), 0–10 V analogue out, solid-state relay (SSR) output up to 1 A, switchable 24 V aux
  • LoRaWAN (OTAA) + Modbus RTU (RS-485) for BMS / third-party meters; extensive OTA remote configuration
  • On-device automation — schedule and threshold rules with hysteresis, runs locally without the network
  • Mains-presence detection — supply-loss events and closed-loop confirmation that switched loads actually followed the command (e.g. relay closed)
  • Class II double-insulated, wall-mount, dual high-current terminals for fast electrician install
  • Certified: IEC 62368-1, CE, UKCA (radio/EMC/RoHS programme completed for EU/UK)
