Guitar Pedals
TechnTone: boutique, fully-analog guitar effects pedals with original circuits and premium components. Founded and run solo — circuit design, industrial design, brand, e-commerce, supply chain and small-batch manufacturing. Sold to players in 20+ countries and counting across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas, with no product returns to date.
Product
Four pedals covering the gain range: Papa Boost (boost), Mamma Drive (overdrive), Turbo Nonna (distortion) and the Turbo Nonna Black Edition (the same circuit as the Turbo Nonna in a restyled enclosure and control layout). All are designed to be transparent: they add gain and character without masking the voice of the guitar and amp underneath. Every circuit is original and fully analog, built around premium components in die-cast aluminium enclosures, with internal voltage conversion for headroom and hidden trim switches that let players re-voice each pedal to taste.
Key Features
- Original, fully-analog discrete circuits — no clones, no digital modelling
- Turbo Nonna: dual-stage Gain and Turbo controls, Volume and Tone, a Fat switch for low-mids, and a 3-position Voice selector switching between clipping circuits with different compression characters; internal voltage boost to 12V for extra headroom
- Mamma Drive: vintage amp-in-a-box voicing, with a Volume control that sags like a valve master and a Boost control moving the pedal from vintage to modern
- Papa Boost: internal 9–12V to 15V conversion for extra headroom, plus a variable-mids “Spark” pre-boost mids shaping control for cutting solos or smoother stacking
- Hidden internal switch on Papa Boost and Turbo Nonna disables the internal voltage boost, trading headroom for a second voicing (compression/dirt vs. level/dynamics)
- Turbo Nonna can power other pedals from its output jack, with a second internal switch selecting the power-out boost independently — regulated 12V up to 400mA, or a protected pass-through of the 9V input
- True bypass, 9–12V DC centre negative power input, die-cast aluminium powder coated and UV printed enclosure, 112 × 68 × 49 mm
- Small-batch UK production: sourcing, assembly, test, packaging, almost exclusively direct e-commerce sales
